Mr. Yuichiro Suzuki is an attorney-at-law and Patent Attorney qualified in Japan and is also admitted to the California Bar.
Mr. Suzuki graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Engineering in 2011 (Bachelor of Engineering), and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Chiba University Graduate School for Law in 2013. After one year of legal training, he was registered as a lawyer in December 2014. He worked at Takahashi Yuichiro Law Office in Tokyo, handling patent litigation cases and more than 200 patent prosecution cases. He thereafter joined KUBOTA in February 2018. From January 2021, he studied at the Boston University School of Law and obtained an LL.M. degree in January 2022. He then passed the California Bar Examination in February 2022.
Mr. Suzuki's practice has mainly focused on IP (Patent, trademarks, anti-counterfeits, unfair competition, designs and copyright), and also handles general corporate and commercial matters.
Mr. Suzuki speaks English and Japanese. Mr. Suzuki is a member of the Tokyo Bar Association's IP group, AIPLA (American Intellectual Property Law Association), and Tokyo IP American Inns of Court.
